Not Forgotten...
Last night—before the Most Blessed Sacrament—our Youth Ministry gathered with our Holy Trinity Knights of Columbus 15548 to mourn the many children’s lives ended by abortion and to remember in prayer all those who suffer the aftermath. The Church designates this day (the anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court Decision Roe v. Wade) a day of prayer; a day when we come together to pray for the protection of all unborn children and to make reparation for the sin of abortion, trusting that the Lord hears each and every one of our prayers.

As Christians, prayer is the foundation of everything we do in defense of human life. In this great spiritual and worldly battle before us, may we always strive to be a reflection of God’s love and grace, offering ourselves as instruments of His peace, mercy and truth….And may the prayers that we offer—and the faithful example we live by—convict hearts and minds until that day when EVERY human life (born and unborn) is cherished, protected and welcomed in love.

O God, source of all life and goodness, You fashion human lives in Your image and likeness, and through Your love, give each human life dignity, sanctity and priceless worth; awaken in every heart new reverence for the least of Your children, and renew among Your people, a readiness to nurture and sustain Your precious gift of human life. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

A very special “Thank YOU” to our Holy Trinity Knights of Columbus 15548 for their continued willingness to support and work with the youth of our Parish…Your collaboration was most certainly appreciated. May your prayers, faithful example and willingness to share our Faith continue to inspire us ALL to better know, love and serve the Lord.

How beautiful, in every way! 💕

The Sunday of the Word of God is an annual day of prayer and reflection on the importance of Scripture to our life. Pope Francis' intention was to lead all to a deeper appreciation for The Word of God, The Bible.

Do you have a family Bible on display in your home? Can you tell us how you enthrone it to make it special for your family?
