Angels Among Us…
In nine days (September 29th), the Church will celebrate the Feast of the Holy Archangels. To better prepare us for this special day, a small group from our Youth Ministry gathered last night with Father Chris and some friends from Our Cluster: St Catherine's, St Francis Xavier's and St Joseph's for a beautiful evening of fellowship and prayer. After enjoying a little “feast” of our own, we spent some time learning/praying the Chaplet of Saint Michael and reflecting on the Nine Choirs of Angels. Over these next nine days, we invite everyone to join us in praying this very simple—yet powerful—Chaplet. Angels are extremely important in our lives; they are ever present in salvation history. Most would agree that our world is in desperate need of prayer...What a vital opportunity we have to lift our intentions to the Lord through the powerful intercession of His Holy Angels.
