Lectors enflesh the Word of the Lord at Mass. All Lectors should strive to proclaim the readings in such a way that Mass participants may hear the message intended. This is done through training, practice and personal prayer.
Any parishioner who has been fully initiated in the Catholic Church, (Baptism, Communion, Confirmation) can speak clearly, and read with expression is invited to become a Lector. We always welcome new Lectors. Our greatest need is for the 5 PM and 8:30 AM Masses.
