Prepare YOUR SOUL for CHRISTMAS

Six priests will be at Holy Trinity tonight to share the gift of God’s healing and forgiveness through the SACRAMENT of RECONCILIATION.

• O, Come Adore & Be Forgiven begins at 6:30pm.  It features Exposition of the Holy Eucharist and a brief Word Service with Examination of Conscience.  Please come!
• These priests are expected: Paulist Fathers Dat Tran & Bill Edens, CSP; Diocesan priests Fr. Tom Simons, Fr. Larry King, Fr. Paul Milanowski, and yours truly.

Even if you don’t feel called to confess your sins, I encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to STOP and BE. 

There’s the other voice of Advent.

The quiet One.

Insistent but drowned out by the louder others:

“PREPARE!”
“WATCH!”

“GET and DO!”

“PROVE YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH. PROVE THAT you love enough.”

MORE MORE MORE!

The quiet voice says “stop.”

“Yes, I am coming to you,” Jesus says.

“Will you meet me halfway?”

Stop.  Listen.

BE STILL and know THAT I AM GOD.
