BISHOP SOWS SEEDS for FUTURE FRUIT in PRAYERFUL CONCLUSION TO ANNIVERSARY YEAR
The fragrances of gratitude and incense wafted through Sunday’s beautiful conclusion of our 175th Anniversary Year.
Bishop Walkowiak’s love for history was evident in his homily as he framed the parish’s founding year of 1848 in the context of world history. Never before has he celebrated the anniversary of a parish as old as Holy Trinity, he said. This was the bishop’s most important point: As we conclude our 175th year, we need to be intentional about creating a vision to guide us to the parish’s 180th Anniversary and even its Bicentennial
